Rainbows Team and Individual Photos
In her own gentle and loving way, Vicki reminded me after we got home from the game today that I totally blew the whole Picture Day thing. I'm sorry about that. Between getting to the game late because I had to work today and rushing to get home to see the rest of the Notre Dame game I forgot all about pictures.
Let's try it again next week so I can update the site and we can all download the team pictures to print them off and stick them on the front of our refrigerators!

- Started Trying to use the Rainbows Blog to post What's New information instead of this page. You can paste this URL "http://gorainbows.blogspot.com/atom.xml" into your favorite NewsReader and see when updates are made to the Rainbows Web Site.
- Updated the Schedule page to add a link to the Rainbows' Fall 2006 Google Calendar and to add a link to
to let you subscribe to that calendar if you have your own personal Google Account. - Updated the Schedule page with the score from our first game. Clicking on the Loss (0-2) link should take you to the Picasa Web Photo Album for the game.
- Updated the Statistics page to indicate that we have no statistics for this week. Oops! We need a volunteer to keep statistics this week. Please let Coach Drew or Coach Craig know if you want to help.

- Added links ( Part 1 and Part 2) to Game 1 video. Since this is the first video I shot it has a glaring bias of pretty much having Caroline in almost every shot. I got over that and the rest of the videos should be more "fair and balanced" and should be mostly about following the ball and everyone near it.
- Added a page for Game 2 that has some embedded video links for the Game 2 video. The requirements of the YouTube site stipulate that each video clip uploaded can by no more than 100 MB large and 10 minutes long. That is why I have to break up the video for most games into multiple parts.

- Added a link on the Game 6 photo page that takes you to short video clip from Game 6. This was all the video shot before the weather forced a filming shutdown. The video is hosted at the GoRainbows account with YouTube.

- Updated Team Photo again. You can now click on the coaches' heads to see an individual photo.
- Trying a new approach for the Game Summary Pages. Am trying out using Picasa to export/create web pages to display all the photos we have for each game instead of just 9 per game. Please let me know what you think. If there is no link for a game that means I don't have any pictures for that game.

- Added stats to the Individual Stats as well as a link to the stats in spreadsheet form. So far these numbers only reflect Games 5 & 6.
- Updated Team Photo on the Rainbows Home Page. Click on each Rainbow's head to see an individual photo.

- Fixed broken "Home" link on all pages so it points to web site and not my hard drive!
- Added an "E-Mail Webmaster" link to each page that sends e-mail to the "gorainbows@earthlink.net" e-mail address
- Created a GoRainbows2 site on flickr and a GoRainbows blog at Blogspot to begin experimenting with new and expanded features and capabilities for the team.
- 29 Apr 06 - Caroline's father, Dave Maloney, started taking over maintenance of the Rainbows web site.

Go Rainbows Blog - What's New With Rainbows Web Site
Am going to try and use the Go Rainbows Blog as a replacement for the What's New page on the Go Rainbows web site. Hopefully we can use the Blog's RSS feed to easily "push" update notices to you so you know when I've updated something on the Rainbows Web site.
